Lloyd Family Racing and Patrik Daniel begin 2025 season at All-Tech

Lloyd Family Racing and driver Patrik Daniel made the journey to All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Florida, this past week to kick off the 2025 season with the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco.

After a tough start on Wednesday, where Daniel was unable to transfer into the opening round of the Sunshine Swing, he bounced back on Thursday, racing his way into the feature with a runner-up finish in his B-Main. Starting from the 12th row in the main event, Daniel managed to advance two positions, ultimately finishing 22nd.

Friday’s event was cut short when Daniel retired early in his consolation race after just two laps. However, the Willis, Texas native rebounded strong on Saturday. After charging from fifth to second in his B-Main, Daniel secured a spot in the $7,500-to-win Sunshine Swing finale. He continued to improve in the feature, crossing the line in 21st.

Team owner Doug Lloyd had high praise for Daniel’s first week out in the Morrow Renewables No. 7P Modified.

“This entire week was a great experience for our team,” Lloyd said. “Simply making the feature was a major victory for us, and we gained so much from the process. We’re excited for what’s ahead this season, as we’ve got some big plans in store for Lloyd Family Racing.”
